Students find out about some of the ‘amusing’ issues that the public has recently expected the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) to deal with. They then discover which issues the FCO is actually responsible for and produce an informative leaflet (targeted at airport users) that advertises the FCO.
Students assess sources to look at poverty in LEDCs (Less Economically Developed Countries) and in the UK. They go on to compare and contrast these sources and thus poverty in the UK and in LEDCs.
